Trail Report
We are trying something new here. We hope to provide a day-to-day report on the condition of the trails. Whether they are dry, muddy, underwater or blown-in. During the summer there is not much to report so hopefully later on in the year it will be more helpful.
The rain is a welcome sign but I'm afraid that it didn't do much for the trails though. They are still pretty muddy. There is a tree down across the Rabbit and Hawthorn trail intersection near the opening to the big field.

Hi all, the Prairie Crocus are blooming along the trails again. A little warm air and they popped right up. Trails are getting better. Just in the middle areas are they still mucky.

The snow is almost gone but the trails are water covered and mud from one end to the other! Stay out to the Big field if you are walking.

Hi all, the road in is fine and the parking lots are not to bad. The trails are being matted down so walking is not to bad. The frozen puddles are dangerous. We don't want any cut paws! Hopefully this is the last of it but don't hold your breath.

Sort of makes you want to pull a blanket over your head and hide doesn't it! Walk safe, remember that there is still a lot of water under all that snow. It is to warm up again this weekend.

Hi all. Just a quick reminder to keep clear of the quarry area. The ice is getting very thin this time of the year. Also watch your footing going down the trails. Very, very slippery! We don't need any torn ligaments.
